BunnysList.org - Privacy Policy
BunnysList.org has established this privacy policy to explain to you how your information is protected, collected and used, which may be updated by BunnysList.org from time to time. BunnysList.org will provide notice of materially significant changes to this privacy policy by posting notice on the BunnysList.org site.
1. Protecting your privacy
- We don't share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.
- We don't engage in cross-marketing or link-referral programs with other sites.
- BunnysList.org does not knowingly collect any information from persons under the age of 13. If BunnysList.org learns that a posting is by a person under the age of 13, BunnysList.org will remove that post.
- BunnysList.org, or people who post on BunnysList.org, may provide links to third party websites, which may have different privacy practices. We are not responsible for, nor have any control over, the privacy policies of those third party websites, and encourage all users to read the privacy policies of each and every website visited.
- We offer email anonymization & relay, to reduce 3rd party harvesting & spam.
How does it work?
You can choose to anonymize your email address when posting to BunnysList.org.
If you select this option, the posting will display a BunnysList.org email form.
Instead of your email address, BunnysList.org will then relay any messages sent from that form to your real email address. Once your posting expires off the site or is deleted, the anonymized email address no longer relays messages to you.
Why should I choose to anonymize my email address?
- Avoid revealing your true email address when posting sensitive information
- Our email message relay service blocks most bulk emailers to reduce the amount of spam sent to you
- Your email address is not publically displayed and is not vulnerable to being harvested for use in bulk email distributions (spam)
2. Data we collect
- We sometimes collect your email address, for purposes such as sending self-publishing and confirmation emails, authenticating user accounts, providing subscription email services, registering for forums, etc.
- We may collect personal information if you provide it in feedback or comments, post it on our classifieds or interactive forums, or if you contact us directly. Please do not post any personal information on BunnysList.org's classifieds that you expect to keep private.
- Our web logs collect standard web log entries for each page served, including your IP address, page URL, and timestamp. Web logs help us to diagnose problems with our server, to administer the BunnysList.org site, and to otherwise provide our service to you.
3. Data we store
- All classified and forum postings are stored in our database, even after "deletion," and may be archived elsewhere.
- Our web logs and other records are stored indefinitely.
- Although we make good faith efforts to store the information in a secure operating environment that is not available to the public, we cannot guarantee complete security.
4. Archiving and display of BunnysList.org postings by search engines and other sites
Search engines and other sites not affiliated with BunnysList.org - including archive.org, google.com, and groups.yahoo.com - archive or otherwise make available BunnysList.org postings, including resumes
5. Circumstances in which BunnysList.org may release information
- BunnysList.org may disclose information about its users if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such disclosure is reasonably necessary to respond to subpoenas, court orders, or other legal process.

6. Our Use of Cookies
Cookies are very tiny text files that are stored on your computer when you visit certain web pages that record your preferences. They cannot harm your computer and they do not contain any personal or private information.
If you take out an ad on BunnysList Classifieds we use temporary cookies to help format the page, and indicate what ads you can view. We also place permanent cookies to enable some of the advanced benefits, such as viewing all ads.
Most cookies expire after a certain time period. The most popular browsers, such as Netscape Navigator and Internet Explorer, can be set to give you the option of accepting or rejecting all cookies.
To use many of our services, your browser will need to be configured to accept cookies. Here's how to do it: In Netscape Navigator, click the Edit menu and select Preferences from the browser's drop-down menu. In the tree structure, click Advanced (Netscape 4) or Privacy & Security (Netscape 7). Under Cookies, you can select the option you feel most comfortable with that enables cookies. In Internet Explorer, click the View (older versions of Explorer) or Tools (current version) menu and select Internet Options from the drop-down menu. Click the Advanced tab, scroll to the Security heading, and select the option you feel most comfortable with that enables cookies.
If you wish, you may set your browser to reject all cookies and still view the site. Because our system requires cookies for many processes, you may find that you are unable to place an ad or perform other tasks.
